CASS CASS ACADEMY PROGRAM
CASS Academy is CASS Housing’s independent living skills program designed to help adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities grow and strengthen their skills to help them reach their full potential and life’s next steps. CASS Academy’s programs target one or more of the 5 Focus Areas of independent living:
Safety: In home and community
Cooking and housekeeping
Finances
Healthy Relationships
Community Engagement: Vocation, Recreation, and Transportation.
*Programs run in 6 week cycles.
Beginning in August of 2024 CASS Academy will be a two-year application based program. The application window for the August 2024 program will open April 1, 2024 and close May 31, 2024.
CASS Academy takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $400.00 per year for 6, six-week sessions with an additional summer session focusing on professional skills and community engagement.
CASS Academy will take up to 12 participants. Decisions will be based on application, assessments, and cleared background check. Acceptance into CASS Academy will be communicated by July 1, 2024.
